We are a group of software engineering leaders who built Hold Their Story™, a four-part platform designed to support individuals experiencing memory loss, such as Alzheimer’s, when their caregiver isn’t present. The system begins with a simple, voice-driven front end that allows patients to ask natural, verbal questions. Behind it is an agentic AI layer powered by an LLM that blends general knowledge with a curated, caregiver-provided memory and history database, ensuring deeply personalized responses. Caregivers can easily add and refine memories through remote portal with an intuitive content input and analytics dashboard provides insights into patient engagement. Tracking sentiment, frequently asked questions, and areas where additional content could help provide greater comfort and connection.

Why we are driven

We built Hold Their Story™ because we’ve seen firsthand how frightening and isolating memory loss can be, for both the person experiencing it and the loved ones who care for them. Moments of confusion, fear, and loneliness often happen when caregivers can’t be there, and we wanted to create something that offers comfort and connection in those moments.
